Programs offered by The Galleries at Moore create a dynamic place for learning new ways of seeing and thinking about contemporary art and supporting lifelong learning for visitors of all ages. All programs are free and open to the public.
GROUP TOURS & MORE
The Galleries conduct group tours for a variety of audiences, including adults, seniors, clubs, and schools. We are dedicated to making connections between contemporary art and the lives of our visitors. Our docents are trained to encourage the visitor to feel comfortable looking at and engaging with contemporary art. We also offer artist- and curator-led discussions for certain exhibitions in our gallery spaces, as well as seasonal activities and educational materials for adults and children, individuals and families. Explore, understand and create while learning about contemporary art. For more information, please contact Elizabeth Gilly at 215.965.4045 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Through a series of paired conversations with an international roster of distinguished panelists including artists, curators, educators, scholars and arts administrators, these Curatorial Conversations discuss the creative nexus between curating and a variety of other societal mandates such as education and activism. Presented by The Galleries at Moore and Moore's BFA in Curatorial Studies major. Read more about past events here.
is The Galleries' new series of networking events that bring together emerging designers and business and arts professionals to meet, exchange ideas, and make new connections. The twice annual series, originally developed in 2009 as NET Nights at Moore, will now feature designers in the fields of fashion, graphic design, urban planning and more, highlighting Philadelphia's growing design industries. These lively evenings feature guest speakers, workshops and seminars designed to help Philadelphia artists and designers make creative contacts in our community. Read more about past events here.
