Arts Rising and LTP
The mission of ArtsRising is to improve and expand equitable access to arts education for all children in the Greater Philadelphia Region so that youth are better engaged in school and in their community, persistent through high school graduation, and prepared for post secondary opportunities and for the 21st Century Workforce.
Parents, students, teachers, administrators and the general public embrace the intrinsic value of the creative process as a means to enrich the populace–individually and collectively–and embrace children’s cultural curiosity and cultural competency as key to developing 21st Century Skills.
The Galleries at Moore College of Art & Design partnered with ArtsRising on the launch of LTP, offering the program to schools in it’s five ArtsZones, three of which are currently part of the inaugural “class” of LTP schools.
